Everything ends on a sweet note for the drama that started off sweet and veered off into noble idiocy in the last episode. Thankfully, the idiocy only lasted one episode and this episode is all about redemption and having Soo Ho and Bo Nui end up together, with a little bit of Bo Ra matchmaking thrown in. Who needs luck when you’ve got Bo Ra wanting her sister to end up happy?
This is the episode of noble idiocy galore (brace yourself). Bo Nui’s intent on making herself and Soo Ho miserable but Soo Ho isn’t willing to give up without a fight. Thankfully, there’s Ryang Ha and Dal Nim to help us cope with it all.
Everything goes horribly wrong as Bo Nui makes progress but a shattering accident might just put her right back where she started. Soo Ho continues to be a tower of strength, doing everything he possibly can to not put Bo Nui in a position to give into her fears. Bo Nui takes giant strides in letting go of her superstitions and the crutch they represent, but she suffers two blows that just might do damage to everything she’s strove to accomplish.
Just when we think Dae Hae can’t be moronic enough, he goes around and proves us wrong. It all comes crashing down for Soo Ho who loses everything and even Bo Nui who is the only bright spot at this period is being swayed by a shaman who I really think is not as all that as everyone thinks.
A gem like Soo Ho can only be one kind of boyfriend: attentive and sweet and cute and adorable and Bo Nui’s luck is in high gear because he is quite the catch. Dal Nim gets her makeover, is heartbroken that Soo Ho’s the guy Bo Nui likes and then snaps to her friend’s defense when the need arises. Seol Hee finally gets it that Soo Ho actually likes Bo Nui and our couple is happy in love.
Superstition and fate can sometimes go hand-in-hand, but a split second decision can breed distrust and sever those ties. Bo Nui’s still proving resistant to Soo Ho’s request for them to date. Gun Wook comes to a realization about Bo Nui’s heart. Bo Nui tries to mend the broken relationship between Soo Ho and his father and takes a decision that has him walking from her.
When our lead learns to read social cues and our female lead, beautiful and sweet kisses happen. Soo Ho finally admits to himself and to others that he likes Bo Nui. Bo Nui likes him back but wants to put him at arm’s length. Gun Wook is still crushing on Bo Nui and Seol Hee’s still trying to end up with Soo Ho, but the only one Soo Ho’s interested in is the superstitious bug who’s wormed her way into his heart.
Sometimes we hear the truth about our developing emotions from the most unexpected places. Soo Ho continues to fall headlong in love and Bo Nui, our beloved raccoon is not too far behind. Our leads learn so much more about each other and create a bond that’s even stronger than any they’ve otherwise experienced.
Agreeing to disagree often opens the floodgates for love to come rushing in. Bo Nui hears the good news about Bo Ra being on her way to recovery and realizes that there are two meanings to spending the night with the tiger. Soo Ho continues to fall more and more in love and finally reaches the point where he accepts Bo Nui’s belief in the superstitions and is willing to help her by tapping into that belief. And it’s a beautiful thing to see.
Sometimes having the very thing you believe in taken from you, can make it seem like all hope is lost. Soo Ho tries and fails to get Bo Nui to see beyond the superstition. Seol Hee finally lets us and Soo Ho know what happened years ago and Bo Nui says her goodbyes.
