Je Ha proves that if you send killers after him and those around him, he will come calling for you. And it doesn’t matter just how well protected you think you are, nobody can keep you safe from the K2 if he has your death in mind. Anna’s back in the picture, with her memories in tact and a big hatred for Yoo Jin. Yoo Jin on the other hand is still as enigmatic, still as scary and even more heartless than we gave her credit for.
Shopping King Louis starts out with one thing every shopaholic loves: a flash sale! Although this flash sale is more luxury item and our self proclaimed king of shopping nabs the number one spot. We’re also introduced to sweet Bok Sil who’s as pragmatic as they come, Joong Won the hard-ass, and a Grandma-Grandson love story that will have us rooting for all of them to end up as family. It’s a goofy delight of a first episode with a surprising depth and warmth.
Fights, death, mistress, hostage, cheating husband and a wife with an iron fist: it’s an hour that set the tone for the rest of the drama and has us assured that the K2 will be a wild ride of a show. We meet our characters, get a glimpse of who they are, and have a ton of questions about them, that would surely keep us coming back for more.
Wei Wei finally learns that Nai He is Nai (hahaha. Poor girl), and her friends are shocked at the relationship. Yi Ran maintains her delusions that she has a chance with Nai until he makes quite the public declaration, leaving everyone shocked at the new development.
Wei Wei finally takes the plunge and agrees to meet Nai (yippee. Who knew we would be grateful for an accident?). Guang decides to get closer to Xi as a means of getting closer to Wei Wei, but still has no idea that the woman he’s been gaming with is Xi and not Wei Wei.
Shao Xiang’s a delusional, superficial idiot, who will most certainly get the shock of his life, sometime soon. Wei Wei and Nai He progress to the championship of Candor Heroes, but an accident derails their plans and might just be the spur that Wei Wei needs.
Wei Wei’s falling in love and it’s so clear for the world to see. Nai’s just as in love with her too, meaning it’s just a matter of time before he takes things offline. Yang gets yet another glimpse into how awesome his tutor is, and Yi Ran’s delusional, but it’s not like her friend is any different anyway.
It’s a happy ending for our “W” couple, although not everyone gets that happy ending (*sniff*). Cheol Ho finally gets what he deserves. Seong Moo’s noble to the very end. And Chul gets to live his life with the woman he loves. It’s the ending we all wanted, although we will miss you Seong Moo.
Quick run-through: Young is delighted to learn that he’s straight as an arrow and that the woman of his dreams is the eunuch who holds his heart. Ha Yeon’s determined…
Hae Soo proves that sometimes, you don’t need the boys to come sweeping in to save you. Sometimes, you can pull of your own rescue, all on your own. The princes come together to save the day (except for Yo who we so didn’t miss), and Hae Soo finds herself with a change of residence and a change in profession.
