Zhen Yi tries to separate the boys and they stick to their guns and prove that this friendship is solid (may it remain so to the very end). Nai’s online seduction is working very well and Wei Wei’s having thoughts that would make Nai very happy (should he be privy to them, that is).
Wei Wei continues to prove that she’s the heroine of both ours and Nai’s dreams (girl, you are amazing!). Yi Ran and Guang continue in the way delusional second leads do. Xi makes her first entry into the gaming world and Guang will soon follow after. Of course they’re both doing it for the wrong reasons but only time will tell if it might right itself out in the end.
Nai continues to prove that he knows Wei Wei best (even though at the moment, he only knows her via the game). Guang starts his courting in earnest, and decides that when a girl doesn’t like you back, it’s best to convince her otherwise through online gaming and a challenge of a one-on-one with the guy she likes.
Cheol Ho retains the honour the rat bastard who I hate more than Sang Hoon himself. Things go from bad to worse “W” style. It’s Seong Moo’s turn to have an existential crisis and Chul has Yeon Joo make a difficult choice.
This episode is all Young’s because no Crown Prince has ever made coming to a rescue look so damn cool. Eunuch Ma just can’t keep his bloody mouth shut. Ra On gets into big trouble. The Qing emissary is a complete arse and Ra On’s friends come to her rescue in the most spectacular of ways.
This episode is all about how crazy Cheol Ho has become: crazy and obsessive and with power that we hope doesn’t remain in his hand for too long. Chul moves across dimensions to save his wife, and even puts his life on the line. Seong Moo finally steps up, although he got some help from Chul and has finally earned the right to call himself Yeon Joo’s father.
“W” is back at work, and this time around, has our hearts pulverized even as we pray, hope and beg that things get better for our guys. Sang Hoon’s just too damn smart. Cheol Ho’s close to learning the truth. And our protagonist and villain finally have their showdown.
This episode’s all about Young proving that he’s the best friend a guy and gal can have. Prime Minister Kim continues to plot and plan. The Qing emissary’s creepy, as is Eunuch Ma, and Young learns about the one wish, Ra On would want fulfilled.
Young is on a roll as he scores yet another victory against Prime Minister Kim and his brood of conspiring ministers. Ra On lets down her hair for a night to save her prince in the most beautiful and elegant of ways, and makes an impression that would ensure that Young would spend quite a while searching for his mystery girl.
Quick run-through: Young’s proves that he’s the master at springing a surprise; a surprise the ministers weren’t expecting and Ra On proves that even in the palace, she is still…
