The king’s still paranoid about the rebel forces and has no idea that the one he should fear is very close by. Young and Ra On continue their sweet and adorable romance even though they have his pending marriage hanging over their heads, and Yoon Sung’s insistent on protecting Ra On, and keeping her from getting her heart broken.
Young Eun plays matchmaker for her brother and Ra On. We learn that yes, not only is Prime Minister Kim a hypocrite, but he is a murdering one as well. Young Eun faces her fears, as does Ra On, and Young finally gets to call the love of his life by her real name.
We get glimpses of what might have happened to Louis, although the questions still abound and Director Baek is looking mighty shady. Louis continues to be the most adorable fish out of water and Bok Sil remains the loyal mama bear. As for Ma Ri? Yup. Louis was soo right about her.
Je Ha proves that if you send killers after him and those around him, he will come calling for you. And it doesn’t matter just how well protected you think you are, nobody can keep you safe from the K2 if he has your death in mind. Anna’s back in the picture, with her memories in tact and a big hatred for Yoo Jin. Yoo Jin on the other hand is still as enigmatic, still as scary and even more heartless than we gave her credit for.
Shopping King Louis starts out with one thing every shopaholic loves: a flash sale! Although this flash sale is more luxury item and our self proclaimed king of shopping nabs the number one spot. We’re also introduced to sweet Bok Sil who’s as pragmatic as they come, Joong Won the hard-ass, and a Grandma-Grandson love story that will have us rooting for all of them to end up as family. It’s a goofy delight of a first episode with a surprising depth and warmth.
Fights, death, mistress, hostage, cheating husband and a wife with an iron fist: it’s an hour that set the tone for the rest of the drama and has us assured that the K2 will be a wild ride of a show. We meet our characters, get a glimpse of who they are, and have a ton of questions about them, that would surely keep us coming back for more.
Wei Wei finally learns that Nai He is Nai (hahaha. Poor girl), and her friends are shocked at the relationship. Yi Ran maintains her delusions that she has a chance with Nai until he makes quite the public declaration, leaving everyone shocked at the new development.
