Everyone comes together to bring Gil Do down but we have the first casualty and it’s depressingly Tae Ha. So Tae Sub’s risen as our new big bad and Gil Do’s injured, broken and on the run. Moo Myeong’s still obsessed with bringing Gil Do down and we race headlong into the big finish.

Seo Woo might have deluded herself for the past 13 years that she doesn’t know the root of her dislike for Hye Jung but Tae Ho’s called it out for what it is: Jealousy. Hye Jung meets Yoon Do and butts head with him immediately. Seo Woo is still feeding her own insecurities whilst Ji Hong and Hye Jung meet up after 13 years and Ji Hong’s ready to get his (fully-grown. Thank heavens) woman this time around.
When we live a life of love and not fear, we’re guaranteed the happiest of endings. Our couple moves in together and follow it up with a proposal. The accident still happens but the ending thankfully changed. And we get the happiest of moments as our leads get that happily ever after.
Doctors have the power to save lives and sometimes do quite brilliant jobs at that. Some of them though need a lesson in bedside manners. Soon Hee comes to her friend’s defense and proves how great a friend she is. Seo Woo still maintains her anger at Hye Jung. Mal Soon goes into her surgery and doesn’t come out of it and our leads are separated for 13 years giving us that time leap we want and a go-ahead to now cheer the now adult relationship.
The right choices can end up leading to the happiest ending and the best possible future. Do Kyung keeps making the right choices and they finally pay off. Jin Sang and Soo Kyung get together and Do Kyung tells Hae Young the entire truth. Tae Jin’s eyes are opened to the truth and we can all breathe a partial sigh of relief.
It turns out that a son’s love for his mother can have him trying to cover up for her, by any means necessary. Joon Soo’s suspicions continue to rise and he’s just a test away from having them confirmed. Dan Tae finally learns that Joon Soo was at the arboretum. Gong Mi remains annoying and Gong Shim is awesomely and patiently waiting for her happy ending.
Once in a while, when tragedy comes calling, it comes in pairs, in this case, Nan Hee’s diagnosis and Hee Ja’s dementia. Nan Hee hears some terrible news and one by one, Hee Ja’s friends discover what’s wrong with her. Even as they come to grips with it, Nan Hee still keeps her own sickness a secret and Hee Ja’s still dealing with a remembered pain that has her wandering out of her house at night and has seeking forgiveness.
Just a taste of how sweet a relationship with Gong Shim can be has Dan Tae looking at her with stars in his eyes even as he begs her sleeping self to wait for him. Joon Soo covers for his mother and prolongs the inevitable. Dan Tae’s still searching for the culprit but seems to have hit a brick wall. Grandmother we learn knows the truth and Dan Tae and Gong Shim are hopelessly in love even if they can’t be together just yet.
